Payment must be made in full one week prior to the event or paid in cash on the artists arrival. Client agrees to pay the full amount due under this contract, even if Client actually uses Artist for less time than contracted for. Checks should be sent to About Face II, PO Box 3214, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
There will be a cancellation fee of 50% incurred for each date postponed or cancelled before 24 hrs of start time. If the event is cancelled within 24 hrs of start time, payment is due in full. Client agrees to pay full amount even if Client actually uses artist for less time than booked.
Any time beyond the above will cost the rate applied above, per artist. Availability to work additional hours is determined by the artist.
Should the Artist get sick or have an emergency situation
, every effort will be made to find a replacement. If no replacement is found, all fees will be refunded.
PLEASE do not ask us to disappoint any guests due to lack of time booked. Sometimes we have an event booked right after yours and we may not be able to stay past stop time contracted here. If you exceed the time booked and we are available to stay, it will be charged in half hour increments. Client will pay for the time booked plus overrun, even if Client has delayed the time we start the actual painting.
There will be a $30 fee for returned checks, plus the amount of the check.
The artist will have no problem working outdoors under proper weather conditions, but a suitable shelter is required in every circumstance.
Artist will have paid breaks of 10 minutes every two hours.
Client agrees to keep balloons away from children less than three years of age, as balloons can present a choking hazard to young children and acknowledges that artist will not give balloons to children under three years of age.
Parking must be provided for the artist near the event location, so that equipment may be unloaded. If arrangements cannot be made for parking close to the location, then the client agrees to provide people to unload equipment and deliver to painting location. The Client will reimburse the artist for any parking fees.
Extreme Adverse Working Conditions:
Artist has the right to cease painting and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions included but not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child or adult; illegal activities; dangerous conditions. Please ensure that location has adequate lighting
Limitation On Artwork:
Artist will not paint on any part of the body that he/she does not feel comfortable painting. Artist will not paint any design or wording that is obscene, offensive or defies good taste. Artist will not paint any designs she is not comfortable painting.
Artist is not liable for allergic reactions to paint/ink/adhesive. It is the parent’s responsibility to notify the artist if their child has sensitive skin. For safety reasons, artists will not apply paint/ink/adhesive to children under two years old. For sanitary reasons, artist will not paint/ink/adhesive anyone who is or appears to be sick or be suffering from: cold sores; conjunctivitis; any infections skin condition; eczema or open wounds. Artist will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property.
Artist will not supervise children.
Their behavior and safety is the Parents’ responsibility. Artist cannot see other children while he/she is painting.
